How to Use the Watson Animal Hack Squat

Hey guys, it’s Haley and Bryan here and we’re going to show you how to use the Watson animal hack squat!

So if you want to adjust the foot pad you press up like this take both pins out we’re going to go to the bottom one. Okay Bryan’s going to step in so he’s going to press straight up going to grab these handles and bring them in your safety’s completely off if you don’t want those removable but that means if you fail your rep you’re going all the way down.

So Bryan go all the way down you’ll still stop go ahead if you want — wait put it on these bad boys if you want to change the angle. The
angle is showing right here at 30° so to change it all you’re going to do is you’re going to adjust up and it’ll go and as you adjust the pendulum will swing to what degree it’s on. So we want to do a 40° right now so Bryan’s all set so he can start going whenever he’s ready.

So since I want him to go at a lower angle I’m going to twist the handle left and it slowly adjust so now he’s at 35° and he’s all set to go. We have one pad we have one band already attached, this will help you on the way up if you do an overload set.

I see a lot of people using that, this one does have the ability to hook up the bands we have showing here. I want to show you this one because I don’t want the band around here bending on this piece which is their angle. This piece will bend, don’t be an idiot and put it around it this way. Be smart, you put it around here like this and you swing it back through right like that and this will assist you on the way up. You want band tension on the way down basically coming out the hole it is a vice versa way there’s a band pegs here you hook it and down here you’ll have the same rollers that are up top and you bring the bands around and then up top on both sides there the biggest thing here is watch that hydraulic line okay number one don’t over-tighten this and don’t over screw it where it comes all the way
out,

I’m going to lose it with hydraulics fluid everywhere, we don’t want that. Be careful where you put your weights, we’re going to put a tape around this so people know that: hey man be cautious be respectful to this equipment.
